INDEPENDENT RESIDENCE IN ANGLET (64): A NEW HS2 LABEL
Tuesday, February 18, 2020 was the inauguration of the "Petit Désir" autonomous residence in Anglet (64), a residence committed to the HS2 label approach. Julien Harymbat, Apave agency manager was present.
In partnership with the municipality of Anglet, OFFICE64 de l'Habitat is building a social residence for seniors, comprising 34 collective units for people who want to remain close to their usual living environment while maintaining their independence and social ties.
This residence, which is part of the home maintenance policy, will help meet the need for suitable housing between seniors' current homes and retirement homes.

The apartments are equipped with a complete home automation system as well as all technical solutions that promote comfort, safety and support for the elderly as their health status changes.
The project also includes a pedestrian network with the creation of a square around the future building, and underground parking.
An innovative housing offer that responds to a societal issue:
- The number of people over 75 years old will multiply by 1.4 in Anglet in 2020 and the number of people over 85 years old will double.
- Nearly 40% of people aged 75 and over living at home live alone in Anglet.
- The dependent elderly population could double in 2020
- 2 times less potential caregivers per person over 85 to be expected in the coming years.
This residence has been designed to be entirely home-operated. The objective is to adapt the habitat to the evolution of age and accessibility but also to offer personalized services.
Through the computer network (IP network), a touch tablet makes daily life easier. It allows to control the lighting, the shutters, the light path, etc.
Apave Certification's High Health Security label (HS2®) is designed to help elderly or frail people live at home, or to accommodate them in new or renovated homes.
OFFICE64 is committed to the HS2® (High Health Security) labeling process in order to meet the needs of seniors by offering housing adapted to their comfort and safety (social ties, adapted living spaces, personal services offered, etc.).
