The C by Apave mark is a voluntary certification mark registered by Apave Certification.
In order to obtain this certification, your products/services have to compliant with the current standard.

The C by Apave certification of electrical products has no validity period, and can be maintained throughout the life of the certified products, provided that the requirements of the mark are met and annual surveillance audits are carried out.
The cost of this certification mark depends on the test reports that the manufacturer already has at the time of application. A CB report or an Apave compliance report means that the manufacturer does not have to carry out tests on the products for which it is applying. In this case, C by apave Certification generally costs between €2,000 and €3,000 per year, depending on the number of products/ranges. This cost includes the right to use the mark, which amounts to €1,000 per year and per manufacturing site of the certified product(s).
C by Apave Certification is a voluntary certification mark, which allows electrical product manufacturers to highlight the safety of their products certified by Apave Certification, and to guarantee the seriousness of this approach over time. Unlike CE Marking and the CB Scheme, C by Apave Certification of electrical products requires periodic monitoring via an annual audit of the production site.
