What is End of Life Vehicles (ELVs) ?

Decreed as hazardous waste by the Public Authorities, end of life vehicles (ELVs) are subject to specific regulations.
Any professional handling an ELV has to be approved. Apave Certification issues certification that makes it possible to exercise this service.
Check the compliance of your installations in situ.
Validate your declarations in the SYDEREP online computer system.
This service includes on the one hand a verification of your site (in situ) and on the other hand a verification and a validation of your declaration on the SYDEREP computer system. These two sections of the service can be done separately or together (i.e. verification in situ then verification of your declaration in the office) by our Technical Expert, according to your needs.
At the end of the service, APAVE Certification provides you with the following deliverables:
- Verification report for your site at the end of the visit.
- After correction of any discrepancies detected on site, certification of compliance with the provisions of the Order of 2 May 2012 / specifications attached to the approval.
- Verification of your declaration on the SYDEREP computer site with the status of the declaration (compliant, not compliant, to be completed)
Procedures: You wish to verify the compliance of your installations in situ and/or validate your declarations on the online SYDEREP computer system.

Approved collection centres for ELVs (otherwise referred to as junkyards) and approved crushing centre of ELVs whether they are independent or members of a network, (junkyard director or owner)

Intervention before the end of June each year, in order to allow you to modify the declarations before the summer holidays and to comply with the deadline of 31/08 of verification year N+1 of your declaration in SYDEREP.
This is an annual service. You will be given a quotation for the year.
